Dr. Chitra Prasad is a professor in paediatrics, genetics and metabolism at the Western university (London Ontario, Canada). She is also an ardent fan of literature, poetry, art and Hindi films. She is a firm believer in the value of “poetry”. This book is a homage to the extraordinary Hindi film lyricists for their invaluable contribution to the tapestry of the Indian cinema. Their words resonate with all the human emotions depicted in the movies. Chitra belongs to a family of artists, singers, poets and writers and is a student of music herself.
She believes that words, whether spoken, written or sung, provide healing and what better way to heal the world than one word at a time. Chitra lives with her family in London Ontario, Canada.
