Qaqa and Other Stories

Mumtaz Mazumdar, daughter of the esteemed educationist and philanthropist Tajamul Ali Mazumdar from Sonai, Assam, India, is a creative writer. An alumna of Cotton College, she also holds a doctorate from Assam University. Currently in her mid-40s, she facilitates English literature at M.C. Das College. Her first major publication, “Qaqa and Other Stories”, intricately explores themes related to the Muslim community of her native region. Mazumdar is also a social science researcher, and blogger.
